Davenport’s Pizza Palace

RE-BRAND
SQUARESPACE WEBSITE DESIGN

As the lead designer for Davenport’s Pizza, I was tasked with refreshing the brand of a Birmingham favorite that has been serving families since 1964. The owners were hesitant to make changes to something so familiar to the community, so my goal was to create an updated identity that felt fresh but still true to their history.

I worked closely with the owner, Amanda, to give their logo a cleaner, more versatile look, introducing brighter colors and refined typography to improve readability and scalability across print, signage, and digital platforms. As they prepared to open their second location, I also helped oversee the rollout of the new brand identity to ensure consistency across both spaces.

To complement the rebrand, I redesigned Davenport’s website with a focus on functionality and customer experience. The new site streamlined online ordering, added easy ways for customers to reserve party rooms, and made browsing menus more intuitive.

The result was a refreshed brand and website that honored Davenport’s long-standing legacy while positioning them for growth and expansion.
